How the Grocery List Works

The Groceries page builds your shopping list from the recipes and QuickBites you select on the Menu page.

Every ingredient from your selected recipes and QuickBites appears on the list, grouped by aisle. Quantities from multiple recipes are combined — if two recipes call for onions, you see one entry with the total amount.

Live updates

The list is shared. If another household member checks a recipe or marks an item, you’ll see the change immediately without refreshing.

Screen stays on

The app keeps your screen from dimming on the Groceries page, so you don’t have to keep tapping while you’re shopping. The same applies when viewing a recipe while cooking.

Building the list

Select recipes and QuickBites on the Menu page. Their ingredients appear here automatically. Add anything that’s not in a recipe using Custom items.
